Day Cleaning Solutions wants everyone in the Phoenix metro to be able to use this website, however they browse: with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, voice control or a phone held in one hand. A kitchen that needs cleaning does not care how you get to the booking page, and neither do we.

Our Goal

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most accessibility rules point to. We treat it as a target to keep measuring against, not a badge to hang on the wall. As pages are added or changed, we check them against it again.

What This Site Does

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, in an order that makes sense, with the focused link or button visibly outlined.
  • Photos that carry meaning have a text alternative, and decorative images are marked so screen readers pass over them.
  • Text and background colors are chosen to meet the WCAG contrast ratios for normal and large text.
  • Each page has one main heading and a logical outline under it, so screen reader users can jump from section to section.
  • Every field on the quote form has a visible label, and error messages say which field needs attention and why.
  • Motion is kept to a minimum, and the site respects the reduce motion setting in your operating system.
  • Text can be enlarged to at least twice its size without content being cut off, and pages work on phones, tablets and desktops without sideways scrolling.
  • The phone number is a tap-to-call link on every page, and the email address is a tap-to-write link.

Where We May Fall Short

No website gets every detail right, and we would rather say so than pretend. Some images may have alternative text that is briefer than the picture deserves. Content we did not build, such as an embedded map, may not meet every guideline. Pages are reviewed as they change, but a problem can slip through between reviews. When we find one, or when you tell us about one, we fix it.

Report a Barrier

If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, call (480) 531-3048 or email daycleaningsolutions@gmail.com. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the tools you use. We read every message, we reply, and we fix what we can. You will not be asked to prove anything or fill out a form to report a problem.

Book a Clean Another Way

If the quote form on the contact page gives you trouble, skip it. We take calls and bookings seven days a week, day or night, at (480) 531-3048, and we will take the details over the phone: your name, the address, what you want cleaned and when. Or email daycleaningsolutions@gmail.com with the same details. The quote, the walk-through and the clean are the same whichever way you reach us.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is built to. Headings are in order, images have text alternatives, links say where they go, and the form fields are labeled. If your screen reader hits something that does not read right, tell us the page and what happened.

Yes. Tell us what works for you. A quote is normally emailed, and we can send it as plain text in the body of the email rather than as an attachment, or go through it with you line by line on the phone.

Yes, and many people do. Call (480) 531-3048 any day of the week and we will take your name, the address and what you need. Nothing about the service changes because you called instead of typing.
